About the Role

The Risk team plays a crucial role in monitoring front-line performance and ensuring the business is on safe footing. As an Operational Risk Manager, you'll work closely with the Head of Risk and key stakeholders across the company to identify, assess, document, and review risks.

You'll provide oversight and guidance on the design, implementation, and effectiveness testing of business controls, developing and implementing risk policies, procedures, key indicators, and appetite statements. Your responsibility will include monitoring risks against limits and thresholds, producing reports to management and other relevant stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, assess, document, and review risks across the organization
  • Provide oversight and guidance on business controls, including design, implementation, and effectiveness testing
  • Develop and implement risk policies, procedures, key indicators, and appetite statements
  • Monitor risks against limits and thresholds, producing reports to management and other relevant stakeholders
  • Work with local and global stakeholders in the risk incident management process, including risk event registration, investigation, and root-cause analysis
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in risk management or a related role within financial services
  • Fluency in English
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Impressive critical thinking, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet concurrent deadlines
