We are seeking a skilled Quality Engineer to join our EMEA team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing supplier quality issues within the region's supply base. This role involves working closely with purchasing and supply chain functions, as well as collaborating with other regional supplier quality teams. The primary objective is to address supplier-related quality issues through transparent communication and documentation, while also measuring and improving supplier quality performance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and manage regional supplier quality performance
  • Execute the 8D process to address supplier quality issues effectively
  • Conduct supplier audits and support regional supplier quality development
  • Support new product development (NPD) and supplier process development (SPD) by managing supplier quality and factory process quality requirements
  • Implement the production part approval process (PPAP) with suppliers, monitor PPAP performance, and ensure compliance
  • Foster collaboration between global quality systems, document requirements, and supplier quality implementation
  • Provide quality requirements for incoming supplier inspection at Hyva warehouses
  • Maintain accurate records of EMEA region supplier quality metrics (rejections, PPAP, etc.)
  • Develop and propose supplier quality improvement actions, participating in their execution
  • Collaborate with the aftersales team, R&D, purchasing, and supply chain teams on supplier quality-related matters

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field, with significant work experience in quality management (at least 4 years)
  • At least 4 years of experience in continuous improvement-related fields
  • Proven expertise in quality assurance tools, corrective action methodologies (8D, DMAIC, PDCA), APQP, and PPAP processes
  • Previous experience in conducting supplier audits
  • Exposure to supply chain management, with an understanding of end-to-end quality management
  • Experience defining software tool requirements
  • Knowledge and technical understanding of regulated industry processes, components, and manufacturing techniques
  • Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders from all levels of the organization
