The Job:

At N Consulting Ltd., we seek a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our team. As an SDET, you will play a vital role in guaranteeing the quality of our software products through the design, development, and maintenance of automated test scripts.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute automated test scripts for complex front-end and back-end systems
  2. Design and maintain test tools and frameworks to support automated testing processes
  3. Collaborate with developers to ensure high-quality and testable code
  4. Identify and report defects, and monitor progress until resolution
  5. Establish and maintain efficient test environments and test data
  6. Create comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
  7. Conduct diverse testing activities, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
  8. Engage in code reviews and provide valuable feedback on code quality and testability
Essential Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience as an SDET or equivalent position
  3. Thorough understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices
  4. Hands-on expertise with test automation tools like Selenium, Cucumber, or Appium
  5. Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Java or Python
  6. Experience with agile development methodologies
  7. Knowledge of database management systems and SQL
  8. Superb problem-solving and analytical skills
  9. Excellent attention to detail and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
