About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Tax Junior Specialist to join our finance team in Krakow, Poland. As a Tax Junior Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing accounting studies and financial reports by completing accounting activities, recording financial transactions, and providing key support to the business.

You will work closely with the Tax Team Leader to ensure the production of high-quality reports, including VAT registers, SAF-T, Intrastat reports, CIT reports, WHT information, and other tax-related documents. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will be essential in identifying and resolving issues related to financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform transactional tax activities, including indirect tax and direct tax tasks, and execute tax analyses and reports as assigned.
  • Ensure the production of reports, such as VAT registers, SAF-T, Intrastat reports, CIT reports, WHT information, and other tax-related documents.
  • Clear errors, apply tax and accounting techniques, and standard practices to classify and record financial transactions to solve unusual issues.
  • Participate in internal control testing and prepare relevant documentation.
  • Support the management with financial aspects of project funding and risk assessment.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate 2 years of experience in Finance, preferably in areas like P2P, O2C, R2R, or Tax.
  • Possess practical knowledge of ERP systems, such as SAP or Oracle.
  • Show good user knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel skills, including functions and pivot tables.
  • Hold enhanced knowledge of basic European tax law, including direct and indirect tax (an advantage).
  • Demonstrate passion for customer service and present analytical skills.
  • Show ability to gain knowledge and process orientation quickly and work effectively in a team.
  • Hold a degree in Finance or equivalent fields.
  • Be proficient in English (advanced knowledge of another European language is an asset).
