Cloud Data Solutions Engineer with Databricks Expertise

We are driving our digital transformation and need a Senior Data Engineer to support our data journey to the cloud.

Your role will focus on top-notch cloud projects, developing data pipelines in Azure Data Factory and Databricks.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide data in the appropriate format, granularity, and accuracy for platforms and end-users in on-prem and Azure environments
  • Use modern data preparation, integration tools to deliver high-quality data solutions
  • Implement and improve ETL workflows to drive business growth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams and international teams to experiment, iterate, and deliver new product objectives
  • Pre-process, clean, and structure data to facilitate data exploration and advanced analytics/Machine Learning activities

About You:

  • You hold a Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field
  • Data & Engineering has been your expertise for 4-5 years now
  • You possess strong ETL skills and experience with data processing tools like Informatica Powercenter, Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services
  • Databases such as SQL server or Netezza are familiar territories for you
  • Ideal candidates have knowledge of one Visualization tool (BO, Power BI)
  • Experience with Databricks or Python is a plus
  • Nice to have: Knowledge of Azure Data Factory or Azure Synapse, Spark
  • You are comfortable working in a diverse, complex, and fast-changing landscape of data sources
  • You value agile software processes, data-driven development, reliability, and responsible experimentation
  • Fluent in English and a proactive problem solver with innovative thinking and strong teamwork skills
  • Able to visit office at Wrocław at least once a week
