Project Overview:


We are seeking a highly skilled Non-Functional Testing Engineer to join our team at emagine Consulting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and executing non-functional testing in the Open Banking domain area, including performance, resilience, and security testing.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Plan and execute non-functional testing in the Open Banking domain area, including performance, resilience, and security testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and review non-functional requirements.
  • Create release test strategies and plans based on non-functional requirements.
  • Design and execute performance, reliability, and resilience tests.
  • Identify performance issues and drive tuning activities with relevant technology experts.
  • Defect prioritization and drive defect fixing with relevant teams.
  • Collaborate with external teams for test planning, execution, and driving changes.
  • Create non-functional test reports and present them to stakeholders.
  • Support monitoring setup for production.
  • Review and prioritize non-functional testing activities, track deliverables, and status reporting.
  • Review existing practices and drive improvements.
  • Incorporate non-functional testing activities into CI/CD pipelines.


Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 8+ years of experience in testing, with a minimum of 5+ years in non-functional testing.
  • Experience in development is an advantage.
  • Ability to manage and execute non-functional testing in complex large-scale programs, accustomed to working with distributed teams.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Experience in defining common processes and rolling out the same.
  • Strong performance testing and engineering experience in LoadRunner, JMeter, or other performance testing tools.
  • Experience in banking and payments is preferable.
  • Experience working in Agile teams, knowledge of SAFe methodology, and experience with CI/CD is preferable.
  • Demonstrate knowledge in Jira, ALM, or Qtest.
  • Experience with source control, build, and deployment tools such as Subversion, Jenkins, Maven, Git.
  • Familiarity with web services standards and related technologies (XML, SOAP, JSON, etc.).
  • Experience working in Linux/Unix and Cloud environments is preferable.
  • Fluency in English, spoken and written.
