As a Global Data Engineering Expert, you will take responsibility for developing and collaborating on innovative product ideas, moving things forward with ambition and eagerness.

Salary: €120,000 - €150,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description

In the Global DWH Engineering Team, you will work with vast amounts of data and help improve its use in Germany, Poland, Mexico, Italy, and Austria.

You will be responsible for development, automation, and maintenance of our services on-premises and within the cloud, contributing to Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.

Your Responsibilities:

  1. You will support operations and take responsibility for productive processes (you build it, you run it).
  2. You will analyze, understand, and accompany requirements from the first user story until go-live within an agile team.
  3. You will contribute to the design of our solution, execute development, test, and document your implementation.
  4. You will take end-to-end responsibility for the solution component.
  5. You will perform analyses in the Business Intelligence environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 4+ years of work experience as a Data Engineer with huge datasets or in a similar position.
  • A clean coder with an agile mindset.
  • No fear of working with mass data.
  • Experience with/ eagerness to learn Kubernetes/OpenShift, data-related GCP services, or MapR Cluster.
  • A high-quality awareness, trustworthiness, and interest in new technologies.
  • Ability to work independently in an agile team.
  • Very good English skills.
