Job Title: Reinsurance Accountant

AXA Group seeks a highly skilled Reinsurance Accountant to support our global reinsurance business. As a Reinsurance Accountant, you will perform technical accounting operational duties for assigned reinsurance accounts, including checking and booking of premium and claims data reported by clients (brokers/cedants), verifying settlement amounts and monitoring third-party debtor balances.

The ideal candidate will have a university degree in a quantitative discipline (finance, accounting) and effective analytical and quantitative skills with high attention to detail. You will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work under time pressure in a changing environment.

The selected candidate will be responsible for reviewing, reconciling, and processing treaty/account statements for assigned markets/clients. They will also ensure that all data is accurate and up-to-date and electronically file/upload relevant transaction documentation to the accounting system. Additionally, the candidate will investigate inconsistencies, account discrepancies, and related issues, and raise/resolve these in cooperation with the team leader.

The Reinsurance Accountant will report to the Local Assistant Manager and work closely with other internal departments on special projects. They will also support and assist in the monthly and quarterly closing process and support continuous improvement activities.

Requirements:

• University degree in a quantitative discipline (finance, accounting)
