Job Title: Systems Engineer

Location: Warsaw

We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to collaborate closely with our sales representatives in a defined territory. The primary responsibility of this role will be to provide technical support to the sales organization in all matters related to pre-sales, sales calls, and post-sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all technical aspects of a sales cycle with customers, from initial RFIs to RFPs and RFQs when required, including project management and active participation in POCs in partnership with relevant teams both internally and within the customer and/or commercial partner.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer technical requirements, reading between the lines to build a solution that outperforms competitor offerings.
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers and partners in close collaboration with sales partners.
  • Continuously enhance knowledge of Fortinet products and solutions, as well as maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and Fortinet's ability to provide long-lasting protection against evolving threats.
  • Effectively position Fortinet solutions to customers, whether remotely or in person, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to confidently present through whiteboarding, technical white papers, technical plans, or customer discussions.
  • Manage time effectively when working on multiple deals simultaneously, ensuring a positive customer experience.

Requirements:

  • High aptitude for security technology, specifically encryption, authentication, with further knowledge of network security, intrusion detection, anti-virus, routing, switching, LAN, and WAN being desirable.
  • Current or previous experience in a pre-sales engineer role, managing end-to-end technical aspects of deals through to technical closure.
  • Ability to demonstrate problem-solving skills and their impact on key wins within the current organization.
  • Understanding and ability to demonstrate the ability to build and maintain customer relationships, including effectively communicating technically to a range of both external and internal stakeholders.
