A Brief Overview of the Job

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst Manager to join our team in Katowice, Poland. As a key member of our forecasting team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining statistical forecasts for our portfolio.

Main Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain statistical forecasts for the entire portfolio considering demand drivers at the agreed hierarchy level.
  • Research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, and evaluate forecast performance.
  • Monitor and report on specific KPIs (e.g., forecast accuracy, forecast BIAS, MAPE, forecast value add) at multiple levels and lags and provide insights on contributing factors and improvement opportunities.
  • Monitor performance of assigned portfolio, team capabilities, tools & techniques.
  • Guide the team on scenario modeling. AI techniques and data usage.
  • Analyze proposal of like-SKU and collaborate with Demand Planners to generate initial forecasts, additionally consider cannibalization impacts.
  • Optimize and tune statistical forecasts, updating system parameters after conducting the necessary analysis to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Track and monitor changes to allow for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management, applied math or other relevant degree.
  • Strong understanding of advanced planning systems and its functionality, e.g. Kinaxis, o9 Solutions.
  • Knowledge of ERP functionality, experience with SAP / Oracle / JDE an asset.
  • Demonstrated experience in Forecasting (Statistical Techniques, Collaboration Scenario Modeling, Parameters modeling).
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Exceptional drive, excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to immediately contribute in a collaborative team environment.
  • An ability to manage multiple priorities and perform well in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high level of client focus.
  • Strong work ethic and high attention to detail, with a desire to learn.
