Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled GL Accountant with expertise in the Belarusian language to join our team at Michael Page. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for collaborating with internal departments to gather, analyze, and interpret financial information.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Analysis: Collaborate with internal departments to gather, analyze, and interpret financial information.
  • Financial Audits: Perform audits on financial data to ensure its accuracy and truthfulness.
  • Compliance: Ensure that financial information complies with professional and regulatory standards.
  • General Ledger Accounting: Align general ledger accounting practices to support budgeting and forecasting.
  • Financial Data Entry: Enter financial data such as accruals, deferrals, and interdepartmental entries into the ledger on a monthly basis, as well as prepare reports.
  • Account Analysis: Perform account analysis to ensure that journal entries and balances are correct.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts with the general ledger.
  • Record-Keeping: Gather supporting documentation and perform record-keeping.
  • Professional Development: Keep abreast of regulatory requirements and best practices in accounting.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a GL Accountant or in a similar role.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • Language: Fluency in both Belarusian and English language.
  • Accounting Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in accounting and business management software.
