About the Role


We are seeking a skilled Business Controller to join our team at Noble. As a Business Controller, you will play a crucial role in optimizing and controlling the cost and revenue elements of the business.


You will be responsible for working with operational and financial stakeholders to drive financial analysis and decision support. This will involve analyzing and controlling revenue streams to ensure accurate and timely billing to customers, as well as managing costs on operational and capex projects.


Additionally, you will partner with the Operational Finance Business Partners and Rig Team to create better forecasts and drive various ad hoc financial analysis to inform business decisions.


Key Responsibilities



  • Functional reporting to Head of Finance Services, interacting with multiple stakeholders within the organisation.
  • Revenue Controlling: Analysis and Control to ensure all revenue streams have been correctly billed to the customer.
  • Cost Controlling: Analysis and Control to ensure costs are adequately controlled and there are explanations for over and under budget.
  • Forecasting: Partner with Operational Finance Business Partners and Rig Team to create better forecasts.
  • Analysis: Drive various ad hoc financial analysis to understand the financial and operational footprint impacting forward-looking business decision-making.
  • Continuous improvement: Drive simplification of reports, analytics tools, and automation of revenue and cost controlling.

Requirements



  • Minimum bachelor's degree in finance or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in finance with a focus on business controlling or related business.
  • Full professional proficiency of written and oral English (min. B2).
  • Knowledge of Project cost controlling within an ERP system.
  • Advanced knowledge in all areas required to fulfil key responsibilities, in particular revenue and cost accounting and cost levers.
  • Experience in executing global processes and working or leading effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of Finance processes and policies and full ability to apply these in the daily work.
