Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Data Competency initiative, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing data pipelines and flows for our clients.

You will work closely with our clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet their data needs. Your expertise in data warehousing, data wrangling, and data modeling will be invaluable in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable data processing pipelines
  • Identify areas for improvement and optimize current data processing solutions
  • Advise on the utilization of appropriate tools and technologies
  • Research new tools and solutions, advising on their adoption
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure business requirements are met
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 3 years of experience in data engineering
  • Experience with ETL/ELT processes and building data processing pipelines
  • Knowledge of data modeling concepts and proficiency in SQL
  • Good understanding of cloud providers (AWS, Azure) and data storage solutions (Snowflake, Databricks)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
