Our Team

We're a motivated team of around 30 people, representing 20 nationalities and 50 personalities. We're passionate about building the Android and iOS PAYBACK Apps for multiple countries and millions of users. Our team consists of UX, Dev, QA, DevOps, and PO roles, working together to deliver exceptional results.

Job Responsibilities

We're seeking a skilled Senior Android Engineer to join our team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving technical change, feature development, and team processes.
  • Improving code structure and architecture for better testability and maintainability.
  • Writing, co-writing, and reviewing design documentation.
  • Collaborating with teams to prioritize and solve problems.
  • Raising the level of colleagues through direct work, pairing, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
  • Regularly writing tests for code.
Requirements

We're looking for someone with strong knowledge of Android, Kotlin, and scalable app development. Key requirements include:

  • Experience with mobile design patterns and a willingness to learn new approaches.
  • Ability to innovate and improve codebases, knowing when to apply each skill.
  • Strong communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working with adjacent teams and designing solutions that balance software best practices and business value.
  • Passion for delivering great products, with a focus on converting ideas into code.
  • Proficiency in technical areas and methodologies, including Kotlin, KMM, Dependency Injection, Modularization, and more.
Nice to Have

We're open to candidates with experience in Scala, Python, machine learning, containerization, and cloud computing. Familiarity with technologies like PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Kubernetes is a plus.
