As a full-time hybrid Industrial Automation Test Specialist in Katowice, you will take on a new challenge and apply your seasoned industrial testing expertise in a cutting-edge field. Reporting to Piotr (Regional Center Industrialization Manager), you will work in a creative and cohesive team alongside innovative, dedicated, and collaborative teammates. Your day-to-day tasks will involve working closely with teams across the business (engineering, manufacturing, quality control) to ensure the application of testing standards, maintenance of test equipment, and much more.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • You will contribute significantly to the efficiency and effectiveness of our industrial test processes.
  • Guaranteeing the application of industrial testing standards (DFT rules, standard test platform usage, maintenance rules) during product development is another key aspect of your role.
  • Developing, deploying, validating, and maintaining test bench, fixtures, test sequence, programming tools, burn-in means, operating manual will be part of your responsibilities.
  • Managing testing means, development or upgrading, including configuration management and related verification according to QCD targets is crucial.
  • Managing maintenance and calibration of active tools/test fixtures (internal, external) will be necessary.
  • You will also ensure support to manufacturing related to industrial test means: deployment, upgrading, follow-up, reporting, maintenance, debugging, expertise, and continuous improvement.
  • Training the workers and EPU managers during design and industrialization phase will be another important task.
  • Investigating root causes in case of non-conformity or incident, and implementing corrective solutions is essential.

About You

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field is required.
  • Experience or understanding of industrial test processes in the electronics domain is necessary.
  • Knowledge of test principles and methods, including testability, test coverage, and test tool capacity is vital.
  • Knowledge and commercial experience with C#/.NET or C/C++ LabView, PLC programming are advantageous.
  • Operational effectiveness and openness to learning new things are crucial.
  • English at B2+, both written and spoken, is necessary.
  • Familiarity with test tools and means such as CEETIS and WEETECH is an advantage.
