This role involves handling cash receipts and disbursements, identifying and resolving discrepancies, and maintaining accurate records. You'll work closely with finance teams to resolve cash-related issues and prepare daily and monthly cash reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily cash transactions to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Handle cash receipts and disbursements in a timely manner
  • Maintain records for auditing purposes, including remittances and bank statements
  • Identify and resolve cash-related discrepancies
  • Work closely with finance teams to resolve issues
  • Prepare daily and monthly cash reconciliations to identify any discrepancies

Requirements

  • 2-year accounting degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of cash application experience required
  • English verbal and written communication skills essential
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work to meet set deadlines
  • Strong time management, planning, and organizational skills
  • Ability to analyze and research data to resolve discrepancies
  • Ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment
  • High-level numeracy and reconciliation skills with attention to detail and accuracy
