At Devire, we are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to join our team in supporting the French market. As a key member of our payroll team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely employee payments, primarily focusing on France and selected other countries.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain the accuracy and timeliness of employee payments across multiple countries, with a focus on France and selected other EMEA territories.
- Assist with expatriate payroll processing and tax reporting for relevant EMEA countries, providing expert advice and guidance as needed.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure smooth payroll processes, cycles, and projects, partnering with COE, HRBPs, business leaders, and global/regional finance teams.
- Regularly review and update country-specific payroll toolboxes, ensuring compliance with local regulations and best practices.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll vendors in EMEA for assigned countries, fostering strong relationships and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Work collaboratively with Senior Payroll Specialists and local finance teams to provide support and guidance as needed.
- Partner with the Regional Payroll Manager and Associate Manager to implement compensation changes following guidance from Total Rewards and Global Payment Departments.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, along with a minimum of 5 years' experience in payroll management within EMEA countries, particularly in French payroll. A Certified Payroll Professional certification is highly desirable. Strong business acumen, effective task management, and fluency in English are essential qualifications. Proficiency in French is considered an advantage.
