Materials Procurement Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Materials Procurement Specialist to join our team in Europe. In this role, you will be responsible for procuring high-quality materials from suppliers for our nuclear projects.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Source and procure materials from qualified suppliers.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  3. Monitor supplier compliance with Westinghouse's quality and technical specifications.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes.
  5. Provide training and support to suppliers to ensure they meet Westinghouse's standards.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Material Engineering or related field.
  2. 4-7 years of experience in a similar role with a proven track record of improving supplier performance and supply chain efficiency.
  3. Fluent in Polish and English language skills.
  4. Working knowledge of manufacturing and quality plans, PFMEAs, etc.
  5. Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to supplier workshops in Europe.
