We are seeking an experienced Chief Accountant to play a pivotal role in setting up and managing our accounting structure.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial data, verifying financial statements, and overseeing management accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Participate in the setup of our accounting structure in collaboration with external providers and local authorities.
  2. Provide basic data to accounting agents and verify financial statements according to Polish GAAP.
  3. Verify trial balances for consolidated financial statements prepared under IFRS guidelines.
  4. Oversee the preparation of management accounts, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  5. Analyze financial data to provide insights on profitability, cost control, and performance improvement.
  6. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide variance analysis with recommendations.
  7. Collaborate with senior management to support strategic decision-making and business growth.
  8. Ensure accurate allocation of costs across departments and business units.
  9. Conduct financial analysis on product performance, pricing strategies, and cost optimization.
  10. Support regulatory reporting and ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
