About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our Enterprise Data & Insights team at Asana. As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in building powerful decision-making data products, integrations, process automation, tools, and analytical reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and deliver scalable data pipelines based on modern cloud-based architectures and build out new API integrations.
  • Build analytical solutions that unlock actionable insights through data analysis, investigation, and visualization.
  • Collaborate with business and analysts to build solutions for complex systems and data platforms that support the growth of our revenue.
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and security principles are incorporated into pipelines and code.
  • Establish trust and strong relationships across technical and business teams.
  • Work cross-functionally with different teams and on different projects as required.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a unique mix of technical and strategic skills, with a deep understanding of our business and what is important. You should have experience with Enterprise iPass platforms, data visualization skills, and experience designing and building analytical data models.

Additionally, you should have fluency in at least one modern language, hands-on experience in building solutions with AWS S3, Redshift, and Snowflake, and experience in building integration solutions with various enterprise cloud applications.
