Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled General Ledger Accountant to join our team at Ricoh. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for ensuring that all reconciliations and accounting procedures are performed to Group standards.

This involves:

  1. Reconciling and agreeing inter-company trading accounts and intercompany balances and correcting reporting to Group.
  2. Carrying out month end close processes for the General Ledger and posting of month end journals, ensuring accuracy of financial statements.
  3. Managing general reconciliation processes, in particular ensuring that all reconciling items are identified and appropriate journal corrections are made in a timely manner.
  4. Ensuring that all reconciliations are performed and recorded consistently according to guidelines and completed on time to ensure that month end deadlines are met.
  5. Making sure that all reconciliations are approved in accordance with Group procedures.
  6. Ensuring that any system errors are reported to the Competency Centre and are resolved in a timely manner.
  7. Ensuring that performance is in line with Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and Service Level Agreements (SLA's).
  8. Supporting accounting activities from multiple Op Cos.
  9. Adhering to Ricoh's core values and delivering a high level of personal engagement.
Requirements
  • Experience with complex responsibilities as a General Ledger Accountant.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Good communication skills to maintain good internal relations.
  • Understanding of the entire accounting cycle.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Education in fields such as finance, accounting, and economics.
