Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantum Security Specialist to lead our efforts in developing cutting-edge cryptographic practices that can withstand emerging quantum computing threats.

Your Role and Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of current cryptographic algorithms to assess their vulnerability to quantum-based attacks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review existing cryptographic frameworks and identify necessary changes for quantum readiness.
  • Design and document methodologies for assessing the quantum resilience of cryptographic algorithms.
  • Stay informed on the latest advancements in quantum computing and cryptography, providing strategic insights and leadership within the organization.
  • Recommend and support the integration of quantum-resistant cryptographic algorithms into security practices.
  • Provide training and support to technical teams on quantum security concepts and their implementation.
  • Engage with industry standards bodies to contribute to the development and promotion of quantum-safe cryptographic standards.
  • Presentation and report writing skills to communicate your findings and recommendations to stakeholders across the organization.

Requirements
  • A Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Cryptography, or a related discipline.
  • Extensive experience in cryptography and information security, with a solid grasp of both classical and post-quantum cryptographic algorithms.
  • Deep understanding of quantum computing principles and their impact on cryptography.
  • Familiarity with cryptographic security standards and frameworks.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex technical problems.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical details to non-expert audiences.
  • Experience working with software development or security teams is a bonus.
  • Please note, 25-50% of the time business travels may be required (Europe and near East).
