About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a DevOps Engineer - Cloud Operations. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will play a vital role in automating, deploying, and securing customer-facing cloud solutions using DevSecOps practices such as automation, CI pipelines, and infrastructure as code & security.

You will work closely with software development, product, and operations teams to identify and eliminate constraints in the product lifecycle. Your primary responsibility will be to develop monitoring and alerting for AWS deployed platforms and software to ensure sustained and reliable availability of internal and production systems.

The ideal candidate will be someone who is ambitious, not afraid to take ownership, has strong technical problem-solving skills, and is collaborative with development teams. They should have a passion for automating away mundane areas of development and deployment and staying up-to-date with current trends in technology.

We are looking for someone who can bring additional knowledge and experience to aid the growth and expansion of our company.

What We Offer
  • 4+ years' experience in a similar role (SRE, Cloud infrastructure/DevOps)
  • An understanding of the SDLC process.
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet)
  • Experience of container technologies (Docker or Podman)
  • Experience of AWS services (VPC, Security Group, EC2, Route53, IAM, S3, AWS-cli)
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration Pipelines (Gitlab CI, Travis CI, etc.)
  • Proficiency in one or more scripting languages (Shell, Python, Ruby, etc.)
  • Experience with Source Control Management (Git, SVN)
  • Experience with Web servers (Apache, NGINX)
  • Experience of producing technical and process documentation
