As a Reliability Technician at Solaris Laser, you will be working within our reliability engineering team to validate industrial marking and coding equipment for both Research and Product Development programs. This involves implementing test methods for increased reliability and compliance of our product lines.

The key responsibilities of this role include reading, understanding, and executing test protocols; setting up data acquisition equipment and instrumentation; documenting test results in books, electronic logs, and reports; maintaining lab equipment including chambers and instrumentation; providing understandable feedback to development and reliability engineers; working hands-on with Markem-Imaje coders, PC's and development tools; and working hands-on with PLC's and other electrical hardware like breadboards, Arduino, etc.

To be successful in this role, you will need Technical Education, preferably Degree in an engineering discipline or software test development; Experience on an engineering team in manufacturing environment would be an advantage; Electro-Mechanical Technician skills; Ability to communicate in English (At least B2 level); Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook; End-to-end Software test experience considered a plus; Experience with PLC programming and interface considered a plus; Experience with QTest, Fitnesse/Python, Atlassian JIRA a plus; Experience with networks and communication protocols a plus.
