Job Title: Senior GL Accountant
Location: Warsaw, Poland (onsite)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that financial information adheres to professional and regulatory standards
  • Enter financial data such as accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and interdepartmental entries into the ledger on a monthly basis, as well as prepare reports
  • Perform account analysis to ensure that journal entries and balances are accurate
  • Reconcile accounts with the general ledger
  • Gather supporting documentation and maintain records
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and best practices in accounting

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or associate's degree in Accounting or a related specialization
  • Accounting certificate / ACCA / CPA candidate
  • 3+ years experience in general ledger accounting or similar; SSC environment is an advantage
  • Understanding of accounting standards
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Knowledge of ERP systems
  • Experience with data analytics is beneficial
  • Collaboration and communication skills
  • Fluent English and Polish including professional vocabulary; other languages like German, Italian, French are advantageous
