About the Role

The Safety Data Sheet Author will be responsible for creating and updating Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for products, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This role will also involve researching and analyzing product information, collaborating with R&D to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is included in the SDS.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creating and updating SDS for products
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements for the SDS
  • Researching and analyzing product information
  • Collaborating with R&D to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is included in the SDS
  • Providing communication to relevant stakeholders about new or updated SDS
  • Providing hazardous labeling input based on the SDS

Requirements

  • Strong data discipline and attestation to details
  • Speaks and writes fluent English
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations (e.g. REACH, GHS)
  • Understanding of chemical products and their hazards
