About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team at Oliver Wyman. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing robust software solutions using MERN/MEAN stack technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop software solutions in line with Oliver Wyman's strategic direction.
  • Collaborate with a team of engineers, contributing to the mentoring of junior staff.
  • Uphold high standards of code quality and participate in the establishment of best practices.
  • Stay informed and share information about technological trends to enhance the team's capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field is preferred. Portfolio of completed projects can be considered as an alternative to formal education.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in software development with a focus on MERN/MEAN Stack technologies.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, React, Express.js, Angular, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with GitHub for version control and CI/CD.
  • Good understanding of system design, Agile methodologies, and the software development lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of orchestration tools such as Camunda would be a plus.
