Financial Services AR Specialist

Our client, a leading international company, is seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their Shared Services Center in Poland. This exciting opportunity allows you to start and grow with the team while establishing processes in this new SSC.

• Manage accounts receivable tasks for designated countries or legal entities, ensuring timely and accurate completion of assignments.
• Ensure compliance with accounting guidelines by focusing on accurate credit management, billing, and invoicing processes, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
• Execute cash application activities, manage collections, and resolve disputes efficiently, minimizing potential risks and maximizing revenue streams.
• Prepare and oversee bad debt provisions while implementing relevant internal controls, guaranteeing effective risk management and financial stability.
• Perform end-to-end credit analysis, dispute resolution, and cash allocation processes, ensuring seamless integration with other departments and stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of systems, processes, and documentation related to AR policies, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
• Participate in projects and initiatives aimed at improving and streamlining AR operations and practices, enhancing overall business performance and customer satisfaction.

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, or equivalent professional experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in financial principles and practices.
• Proficiency in both English and French, enabling effective communication with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders across linguistic and cultural boundaries.
• Familiarity with working in a Shared Services framework or similar operational model, showcasing adaptability and flexibility in dynamic environments.
• Comprehensive understanding of accounts receivable workflows and best practices, ensuring seamless integration with other departments and stakeholders.
• Practical experience with SAP, leveraging technical expertise to drive process improvements and optimize system utilization.
• Exposure to transitioning processes to a Shared Services setup is advantageous, highlighting ability to navigate complex change management scenarios.
