Job Summary:
    We are seeking an experienced lifeguard to join our team at This Endorsed. As a lifeguard, you will be responsible for maintaining safe swimming conditions, creating a positive atmosphere that promotes member safety and engagement, and adhering to YMCA policies and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:
    Key responsibilities include maintaining constant surveillance of the pool area, being rescue ready at all times, responding promptly to emergency situations, and maintaining accurate records as required by the YMCA and/or the state Health Department code. You will also be responsible for checking the pool for hazardous conditions, performing chemical testing, and attending all staff meetings and training as required.

Qualifications:
    To be considered for this position, you must have a minimum age of 17, certifications in CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, and Basic First Aid, as well as current YMCA Lifeguarding or Red Cross Lifeguarding certification. Additionally, you must be able to maintain certification-level physical and mental readiness, demonstrate lifeguard skills in accordance with YMCA standards, and meet requirements within 30 days of hire including completion of Child Abuse Prevention and New Employee Orientation.
