Job Title: Linux System Administrator for OpenShift Environment

We are seeking an experienced Linux system administrator to join our team at GMV. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and integration of our OpenShift platform, as well as its integration with other core systems.

Main tasks include:

  • Installing, managing, and maintaining OpenShift infrastructure across virtual and cloud environments
  • Monitoring and optimizing performance, capacity, and availability of OpenShift environments
  • Acting as 2nd Line of Support for OpenShift, container orchestration, networking, storage, and security
  • Collaborating closely with other teams and supporting development teams
  • Researching, preparing, and implementing changes to the OpenShift environment
  • Producing administration and maintenance documentation of the OpenShift infrastructure

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Linux system administrator, preferably with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience directly working in an OpenShift environment
  • Expertise in container orchestration frameworks such as OpenShift
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies and experience with cloud-based deployments
  • Expertise in troubleshooting OpenShift issues
  • Strong automation knowledge, proficient in Ansible
