Job Summary:

This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a Category Manager with Czech Language expertise. As a key member of our category management team, you will play a vital role in defining and executing a comprehensive category strategy across various commercial dimensions.

You will work closely with our Country/Cluster Head to integrate the category strategy into the broader country strategy, collaborate with central teams to influence strategies, and analyze key business metrics to inform corrective actions.

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with experience in a similar FMCG/e-Commerce environment, preferably within the pet sector. You should have strong commercial and technical skills, excellent teamwork and communication abilities, and a deep understanding of customer needs and market requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define a holistic annual category strategy across key commercial dimensions
  • Work with the Country/Cluster Head to tie category strategy into the broader country strategy
  • Collaborate with key central teams/departments to influence strategies
  • Analyze main business KPIs across Sales/Category/Customer/Product dimensions and plan corrective actions
  • Recommend adjustments and exceptions of local prices on brand/product level
  • Create a full-year promo plan accounting for category dynamics and relevancy
  • Actively monitor campaign/promo performance and track budget spend vs. local plan
  • Run topical/brand/product promotions on short notice depending on business need
  • Contribute to the business strategy and requirements for product sorting in PLP and search results
  • Contribute to the business strategy and requirements for Up-selling and Cross-selling through the product recommendation boxes
  • Collaborate with Graphics and Shop OPS teams for category-related banners
  • Provide inputs for a continuous QA process to Shop Operations and sign-off (if needed) any adjustment in the category content
