Job Title: GL Associate (Treasury & Cash Management)

This role will report to the Europe Cash Management Team Leader and will support the execution of General Accounting - Cash Accounting related activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute daily Cash Accounting, Treasury, and Intercompany activities
  • Oversee and support General Ledger (GL) journal entries postings, GL, cash, and loan accounts review, maintenance, and analysis, GL master data change requests, reconciliations, foreign exchange adjustments, and corporate required accounting
  • Initiate and record intercompany transactions (allocations, cross-changes, royalties, dividends, loans, and interest)
  • Prepare or review monthly intercompany statements and agree to general ledger account detail
  • Coordinate and support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, including completion of sub-ledger postings, control the progress on clearing bank transactions, bank account reconciliations, sub-ledger lockdown, posting to GL, Cash accounting, and corporate submissions
  • Coordinate and support the execution of activities related to internal and external audit requirements
  • Provide periodic internal and external reports and support ad hoc data requests from management or markets
  • Work closely with local accounting teams to resolve discrepancies, issues, and queries for related accounting issues in a timely manner
  • Ensure a robust compliance environment with SOX, internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance/Accounting or related
  • 1-2 years' experience working in accounting positions
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems: SAP
  • Solid knowledge of MS Excel
  • Proficiency in English
  • Ability to work in culturally diverse teams
  • Customer-focused with strong interpersonal and communication skills
