Job Title: Corporate Data Architect

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Data Architect to join our team and play a critical role in shaping our corporate data architecture to support our digital transformation initiatives.

This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business analysts, and data engineers, to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical solutions.

Responsibilities:

Data Modeling and Design:

  • Design scalable and efficient corporate data models on conceptual and logical levels that cater to the needs of diverse business functions while ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and needs.

Data Governance and Standards:

  • Establish data architecture frameworks, policies, and standards to ensure consistent data management practices across the organization.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of data architecture, including data flows, data dictionaries, and system dependencies.

Requirements:

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field; master's degree preferred.

Skills and Competencies:

  • In-depth knowledge of data modeling principles, data warehousing concepts, and database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of cloud solutions, preferably with a focus on AWS.

Experience:

  • Proven experience (minimum of 3 to 5 years) as a Data Architect, Data Engineer, or similar role in a corporate setting, preferably within a digital environment.
  • Hands-on experience with a wide range of data technologies and platforms, including both relational and non-relational databases, data warehousing solutions, ETL tools, and cloud-based data services, particularly AWS.
