**Job Overview**

At Equinor, we are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for providing strategic and operational procurement and contract management services in line with category strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct procurement activities related to establishing and managing agreements, ensuring safety, security, and sustainability in procurement.
  • Establish specific procurement strategies according to business needs, relevant category strategies, and market input.
  • Implement contracts in all systems (Plan-to-Pay).
  • Provide input to risk-based follow-up plans to ensure agreement understanding and compliance.
  • Manage performance and relations, including safeguarding correct use of contracts and following up on KPIs and SOX-controls.
  • Handle contractual issues, changes in agreements, including variation order requests, amendments, options, and rate adjustments.
  • Perform internal and external stakeholder management as well as supplier relations management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant area.
  • Minimum 7 years of procurement experience, ideally with hands-on experience from operation and maintenance of onshore wind farms or conventional power plants.
  • Candidates with a strong focus on compliance regarding safety, ethics, and compliance requirements and alignment with leadership expectations and company values.
  • Great communication skills, able to communicate independently within the immediate team, across other areas, and towards key stakeholders from partners or external parties.
  • Candidates who work independently to solve highly complex tasks with short- to medium-term tactical impact/risk and like to resolve challenges, deliver improvements, and contribute to shaping best practices.
  • Fluency in English and Polish language.
