Job Title: SBS-GA Accountant

About the Role:

Sherwin-Williams is a global leader in the paints and coatings industry, with a strong presence in the EMEAI region. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented SBS-GA Accountant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and reconcile financial data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare and upload journals, generate reports, and provide support to the EMEAI Finance team.
  • Review and analyze financial data to ensure postings are correct and accurate.
  • Respond to queries from the business and finance network.
  • Ensure the completeness and accuracy of balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Work with the finance network and the business to resolve any mispostings.
  • Support internal audits and actioning any audit recommendations as appropriate.
  • Support external auditors as required, attending to audit queries and information requests.
  • Support the External Reporting and Enterprise Reporting & Control teams to ensure that audit requests are completed on time and in full.
  • Support in-country specific activities as required.
  • Support other GA team members, including supporting training where needed.
  • Attend to ad hoc requests from Corporate and other Finance contacts.
  • Support various projects within the EMEAI region.
  • Meet targets and KPIs and ensure service model delivery is in line with the SLA.
  • Work with different time zones and different holiday schedules.

Requirements:

  • Minimum two-year experience in bookkeeping.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Excel.
  • Command of English – conversational.
  • Knowledge of Navision and PC Biznes as an additional advantage.
  • 2 years Credit Control or Accounting background.
  • 2 years Customer Services background.
  • Fluency in English and Polish.
