Procurement Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at Michael Page. As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing our purchasing strategy, ensuring seamless product availability and quality across all channels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to ensure optimal stock structure, availability, and proactively address potential overstock.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to drive commercial negotiations and ensure cost savings.
• Lead cross-functional teams to drive business growth, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Manage a broad assortment at the category level, ensuring alignment with market trends and customer needs.
• Collaborate with the management team to provide strategic support and drive business decisions.
• Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and teamwork, focusing on effective communication and problem-solving.
• Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor analysis, and industry developments to inform purchasing decisions.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in procurement or a related field, preferably in e-commerce.
• Proven track record of leading strategic commercial negotiations and driving cost savings.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience in managing a broad assortment at the category level, with a focus on import purchasing and team management.
• Higher education in a relevant field, preferably with a specialization in procurement or supply chain management.
• Proficiency in English, with a minimum B2 level, and excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel.
• Interest in the sportswear market and familiarity with the outdoor market is an advantage.
