At HSBC Service Delivery, we are looking for an experienced Chief Mobile Platform Strategist to support and grow our Digital Platforms.

The successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of Mobile technologies and architecture as well as industry trends. They will be responsible for the digital mobile and online experiences; using digital messaging to enhance our customer relationships; building and improving the underlying technology and security platforms; and innovating our propositions to compete effectively in a mobile, data-driven world.

This is a key role within the Enabler Platforms team that supports global and market value streams by providing foundational and sustainable capabilities for use across all WPB businesses, geographies, and customers.

The ideal candidate will have experience in developing high-level technology roadmaps, with the ability to influence the prioritisation and investment as part of the quarterly and yearly planning.

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 per annum, annual performance-based bonus, additional bonuses for recognition awards, multisport card, private medical care, life insurance, one-time reimbursement of home office set-up (up to 800 PLN), corporate parties & events, CSR initiatives, nursery discounts, financial support with trainings and education, social fund, flexible working hours, and free parking.

The successful candidate will also participate in proof-of-concept work around Mobile technologies/features, define the end-to-end solution design, related to Mobile product and features, maintain the business and technology capability view for the Mobile platform, engage with primary stakeholders to influence strategic investment decisions and technology outcomes of the Mobile Platform and other enterprise-wide solution designs, and collaborate with various Agile teams validating the impacts and technology assumptions, elaborating current and target state architectures, evaluating implementation options and recommendation.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Able to translate business requirements into the high-level architectures, across value streams and markets.
  • Experience in elaborating solution designs at various levels with the ability to understand interdependencies across business lines and breakdown non-functional requirements into application, infrastructure, security, cloud, and data designs.
  • Accountability for significant architectural decisions and provide justification for decisions taken.
  • Excellent leadership, engagement, and communications skills, with demonstrable experience in setting stretching objectives; building effective networks both internally and externally; delivering clear decisions and direction.
  • Knowledge of Integration concepts, techniques, and patterns; Security concepts and design; Data domain Architecture concepts, techniques; Event-driven architecture concepts; Native mobile coding skills.
