Job Title: Senior Manager R&D Procurement

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager R&D Procurement to join our team at 9605 GSK Services Sp z o.o. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Evidence Generation category and drive strategic sourcing initiatives that support our business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement category strategies to drive cost savings and improve supplier relationships
  • Manage and support Global Medical categories, including contract planning, negotiation, execution, interpretation, and maintenance
  • Work across multiple countries and business units, requiring high cultural awareness and strong partnerships with Business Owners and Suppliers
  • Establish strong partnerships with Suppliers to understand business challenges and develop simplified, cost-effective resolutions
  • Proactively liaise with functional groups to determine scope of category services, suitability of Suppliers, competitive bid analysis (RFPs), and identification of areas in which efficiencies can be gained
  • Implement and support procurement strategies to maximise supplier leverage and gain significant external supplier knowledge
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce non-value added work and maximise use of efficient buying channels
  • Contribute to the R&D procurement savings targets year on year

Requirements:

  • 5 years + of experience in procurement category management
  • Proven negotiations and contract management skills
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in English
  • University degree

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

  • Knowledge and experience of R&D Procurement and/or Evidence Generation
  • Experience of procurement lifecycle management systems such as Ariba Sourcing, Contracts and Guided Buying (or equivalent)
  • Experience of effective Supplier Relationship Management
  • Experience of running international sourcing processes
