Secure Collaboration and Innovation

At msg global solutions, we're seeking a skilled DevSecOps Specialist to join our global engineering team. This role will involve collaborating closely with DevOps Specialists, Developers, QA Engineers, System Analysts, and Project Managers to ensure the security and integrity of our product delivery processes. Our team is dedicated to implementing robust security measures in accordance with industry standards, adhering to best practices, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the secure development and deployment of applications, leveraging expertise in cloud security and DevOps.
• Actively contribute to coding, debugging, and security-focused challenging applications and cloud infrastructures.
• Implement Secure Systems Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) practices, promoting a culture of security and compliance.
• Communicate with product delivery stakeholders on cybersecurity matters, providing expert guidance and support.
• Participate in threat modeling workshops, penetration tests, and other security-focused initiatives.
• Research and evaluate cybersecurity tools and methodologies, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
• Administer and develop our security toolset, ensuring seamless integration with our DevOps pipeline.
• Respond to cybersecurity incidents, working closely with audit findings and security teams to ensure prompt resolution.

Our Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT or a related engineering field, with a strong foundation in computer science and software development.
• Minimum 3 years of proven work experience in cybersecurity roles, with a focus on cloud security and DevOps.
• Good understanding of DevOps, DevSecOps, and systems engineering concepts, with expertise in Linux, Git, Computer Networking, Kubernetes, Docker, web application security, and fundamental IT security principles.
• Experience in public and private clouds (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), with familiarity with Bash, NodeJS, Python, and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub, Bitbucket, Gitlab).
• Expertise in secrets storage solutions and their application in DevSecOps, with a strong focus on security and compliance.
