Responsibilities- Lead the design and development of scalable, robust, and secure data solutions that align with business objectives.
- Create and maintain technical standards and best practices for data engineering and analytics.
- Making decisions on architecture, tools, and frameworks for data ingestion, processing, and analytics.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise technology and security standards.
- Implement and manage cloud-based (e.g. AWS, GCP) and on-prem data & analytics platforms.
- Ensure compliance with DevOps practices and privacy & security policies.
- Optimize platform performance and cost-efficiency, troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Oversee and mentor a team of data engineers and developers.
- Foster a collaborative and learning-oriented environment that promotes growth and knowledge sharing.
- Work closely with stakeholders to align technical efforts with business objectives.
- Create and maintain product backlogs and roadmaps.
- Estimate and plan work, providing status updates to stakeholders.
- Extensive experience (4+ years) in designing and delivering cloud or hybrid data platforms.
- Strong background in data engineering and analytics.
- Proficiency in cloud technologies (AWS, GCP).
- Experience with Data Warehousing, Big Data technologies, and NoSQL databases.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks.
- Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
