Job Summary

EPAM is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineering Lead to lead our cloud engineering efforts and drive the adoption of cloud-based solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting, implementing, and maintaining cost-effective Microsoft Azure solutions that meet our client's security, quality, scalability, resiliency, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cloud Architecture: Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures on Azure.
  • DevOps Implementation: Implement DevOps practices across the full stack, including database, services, code, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Infrastructure-as-Code: Utilize tools like Terraform, ARM, or CloudFormation to manage multi-cloud environments.
  • Team Leadership: Provide technical direction and leadership to DevOps engineers across solution groups and third parties.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively across the organization to ensure successful project outcomes.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in Azure Cloud and Azure DevOps.
  • Confidence in architecting applications around cloud PaaS services.
  • Practical knowledge of DevOps implementation across the full stack and in Azure Cloud.
  • Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code, using tools like Terraform, ARM, or CloudFormation on multi-cloud environments.
  • Solid background in development using a primary language like Java, C#, JavaScript.
  • Proficiency in containers and container orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
  • Competence in CI/CD, including tools like Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, TeamCity, etc.
  • Experience in at least one scripting language (Bash, Python, PowerShell, etc.).
  • B2 English level, both verbal and written.
