About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Risk Advisor to join our Technology Risk team at Goldman Sachs. As a key member of our Secure SDLC team, you will be responsible for identifying software security flaws and providing security assurance advice and guidance to engineers to help them manage application risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support static, dynamic, and security awareness services to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Develop, maintain, and improve detection controls, security reviews, remediation activities, and business unit engagements to ensure effective security measures.
- Provide training and guidance on security-related issues to engineers and other stakeholders.
- Drive the adoption of embedded application security controls within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Lead product evaluation and help engineers develop tools and solutions that facilitate the adoption of security controls across the firm.
- Review and provide advice and consultation to business owners on identified security issues.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 5 years' experience in information security or a related field. You must have strong technical, interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills to interact with internal clients globally. Your knowledge of application security, risk analysis, and risk management techniques, methodologies, and governance will enable you to be an active member of our team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Program management skills.
- Expert knowledge of cloud security applications.
