Marketing Artwork Process Specialist

As a Marketing Artwork Process Specialist at PepsiCo, you will be responsible for end-to-end management of the packaging adaptation process, from design adaptations to sending files to the printer for the Turkish Business Unit. You will manage the adaptation, rollout, final print preparation, external agency project management, and colour management of brand packaging designs from master files received from sector or Cluster Marketing teams.
Responsibilities:- Communicate requirements for packaging adjustments to the design team (internal or external).
- Develop the first concept based on requirements for packaging adjustments.
- Prepare and conduct agency/design team briefings for new package designs.
- Perform iterations with the agency/design team on briefings.
- Revise briefings following discussions with the agency/design team (if required).
- Align on packaging adjustments with relevant teams (Regulatory, Legal) and incorporate feedback.
- Align on execution and production planning for adjusted packaging with relevant stakeholders (agencies, supply chain team).
- Provide feedback on adjusted packaging.
- Detail and review changes in updated packaging (in cooperation with agencies/design teams).
- Implement adjustments on packaging.
- Facilitate the artwork production process and coordinate to ensure products are on time in market.
- Submit artworks for required approvals and ensure timely approval from other functions (legal, regulatory, production).
- Manage external agency projects until files are delivered to the printer.
- Ensure local and global brand guidelines for primary and secondary packaging are respected.
- Support Brand Managers in the artwork development of NPDs, Redesigns, promotional packagings to achieve brand objectives: help them with briefings, follow-up timings, and approval loops, manage deadlines.
- Continuous improvement of current artwork process.
- Single point of contact for all packaging projects in the Turkish Business Unit both internally and with external agencies.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of graphic design, packaging design, portfolio navigation, and print industry specifics.
- Great understanding of print processes and technologies.
- Proven high project management skills.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in English is mandatory.
- Collaborative, able to construct solutions within a team.
- Executional excellence and love for details, accuracy, and punctuality.
- Ability to work in ambiguous and dynamic work environments; comfortable with risk and uncertainty.
- Highly communicative.
- Highly organised and responsive, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Self-organised with strong prioritisation skills and ability to run multiple projects in parallel.
- Turkish & English language knowledge at proficiency level – must have requirement.
