We are seeking a highly skilled IT Network Security Specialist to join our Global Internet Access Squad in Katowice and Warsaw.

About the role:

The successful candidate will provide Tier 3 level Technical Support to customers, ensuring the reliability and security of proxied internet access and VPN solutions delivered to ING employees worldwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for complex network-related issues;
  • Contribute to project work, implementing new solutions and improving existing ones;
  • Participate in operational support activities, including LCM, incident resolution, request implementation, reporting, and monitoring;
  • Support security processes and ensure compliance with established standards;
  • Involvement in out-of-business-hours planned changes and providing standby on-call service as required.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in working with network technologies;
  • Strong network fundamentals (CCNA/CCNP knowledge level) and experience with proxy, VPN, firewall, and load balancers – enterprise solution;
  • English language proficiency at B2 level or higher;
  • Ability to clearly express ideas, facts, and opinions, and to complete tasks efficiently, timely, and with high quality;
  • Prioritization and organization skills, with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
  • Desirable: experience in scripting (Python, GO, PowerShell), automation skills, and ability to share knowledge with others.
