High-Level Accounting Expert for Swiss GAAP FER Implementation

We are seeking a highly skilled accounting professional to join our team as a Senior Accounting Analyst. As a member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely reporting of financial information for Zimmer Biomet's operations in Switzerland.

About the Role

This position is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of Swiss GAAP FER (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles for Enterprises) requirements for Zimmer Biomet GmbH and its subsidiaries. You will work closely with our global finance team to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and provide guidance on accounting matters related to Swiss GAAP FER.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review all financial reports, including local and corporate reports, in compliance with Swiss GAAP FER and corporate reporting requirements.

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Swiss GAAP FER and ensure that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in accordance with these principles.

  • Collaborate with the global finance team to develop and implement policies and procedures related to Swiss GAAP FER.

  • Analyze financial data and identify areas for improvement to enhance the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably with expertise in Swiss GAAP FER.

  • Strong knowledge of SAP and other financial systems.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
