Job Title: QA Automation Tech Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Automation Tech Lead to join our team at Mend.io. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our automation testing strategy.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the technical agenda and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing guidance and expertise in automation testing.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D teams and product management on new features, system integration, and performance testing.
  • Develop comprehensive test plans, including functional, end-user, stress performance, reliability, and usability testing.
  • Execute tests throughout the entire development lifecycle, from development to pre-release and release phases.
  • Analyze requirements from a quality engineering perspective and write tests.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in automation development using Python.
  • Automation activities ownership or leadership experience in a QA automation role.
  • Expertise in API, UI automation testing.
  • Experience with the Pytest framework and Selenium.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
  • Proficiency in using issue tracking systems like Jira.
  • Strong analytical skills, creativity, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A team player with a proactive, get-it-done attitude and a quick learning ability.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with various testing tools and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of the latest trends and advancements in QA automation.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement in testing processes and methodologies.
