Allegro, a leading Polish e-commerce platform, seeks an experienced Cloud Security Architect to join its team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to the company's security and growth.

 

**Salary:** The estimated salary range for this position is approximately €70,000 - €100,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

 

**Job Description**

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cloud Security Architect to design and implement secure cloud solutions on platforms such as GCP and Azure. As a key member of our security team, you will work closely with project/engineering teams to define and enforce security requirements for various projects.

 

**Responsibilities:**

  • Designing and implementing security architectures for cloud solutions on platforms such as GCP and Azure
  • Collaborating with project/engineering teams to define and enforce security requirements for various projects
  • Defining security configurations for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services
  • Conducting and coordinating security assessments and penetration tests in partnership with your team
  • Engaging in the detection of security vulnerabilities and overseeing their resolution
  • Taking responsibility in implementing, maintaining, and developing a comprehensive security tool ecosystem
  • Promoting best practices in security and upholding the highest standards
  • Sharing knowledge through training sessions and presentations on IT security topics

 

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven practical experience in public cloud security, especially on Google Cloud Platform and Azure
  • Experience conducting and coordinating security tests and penetration tests for cloud and on-prem infrastructure
  • Understanding and co-creating IT service architecture from a security perspective, including threat modeling processes
  • Experience or familiarity with AI security principles and practices
  • Familiarity with global standards and industry recommendations such as OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK, PCI DSS, DORA, NIS2 and others
  • A keen interest in growing within the realms of cloud, network, or AI security
  • Experience working in security teams using agile methodologies
  • Ability to take on a mentoring role, sharing knowledge and experience with others
  • Ability to present necessary technical tasks in the context of business risks
