Your Daily Tasks:

  • Collaborate with the Lending team to drive consistency and controls of processes to ensure accurate, timely, and completeness of financials.
  • Prepare and record financial transactions for legal vehicle and regulatory reporting purposes.
  • Manage ongoing communication and P&L/B/S reviews with relevant Business partners and key stakeholders.
  • Drive improvements to the control infrastructure and adherence to Manager Control Assessment policies and procedures.
  • Identify continuous opportunities for Finance synergies and drive changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Participate/Lead ad-hoc projects that arise relating to further streamlining or retirement of existing systems or assisting in the introduction of new systems.
  • Work closely with various areas of the Finance department, liaising with the Trading Desk, Risk Management, Operations, Middle Office, and IT teams.
  • Use effective escalation to ensure issues are highlighted in a timely manner.
  • Support standardization efforts and work on strategic as well as ad-hoc projects to improve Citi's Product Control system infrastructure and to implement process improvement ideas.
  • Develop an enquiring and questioning mindset.

Your Skills:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Finance (Banking or SSC working experience) and/or Accounting (US GAAP preferred).
  • University/College degree in Finance/Accounting.
  • ERP knowledge (SAP, Oracle) is an advantage.
  • Project Management and/or contribution into Project/Program Testing Cycles are an advantage.
  • Commitment to people-oriented leadership.
  • Excellent verbal and written English.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
