About the Role

The Senior Fund Accounting Senior Analyst will play a key role in participating in fund valuation activities, collaborating with the Operations - Transaction Services team to ensure timely and accurate NAV calculations and distribution of unit prices. This position requires strong analytical and communication skills to effectively monitor work activities and escalate questions or research as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor work activities to guarantee timeliness and accuracy of fund-related tasks, including daily NAV calculations and distribution factors.
  • Process daily work efficiently and accurately, serving as an escalation point for complex transactions or sensitive client matters.
  • Review associate work and provide signoff for complex transactions or sensitive clients.
  • Assist in developing training materials and training employees, and act as an escalation point for questions and research.
  • Ensure adherence to established procedures and controls, maintaining data processing integrity.
  • Support and oversee overall fraud quality control, both monetary and non-monetary.
  • Collaborate with manager to identify areas for procedural changes and contribute to team administration.
  • Audit and manage business decisions to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Citi policies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Fund Accounting.
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in change management and/or project management.
  • Strong knowledge of financial instruments, capital markets, and funds processes.
  • Effective verbal and written English skills.
  • Proficient computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office applications.
