Backend Java Developer Position

We are an international company called 300Brains, operating in the area of Information Technology with the aim of supporting international companies, primarily startups, in the implementation of their brilliant ideas.

We are seeking a backend developer with 5 years of experience to work on servers and APIs powering mobile and web applications, as well as data infrastructure. The ideal candidate is versatile and willing to contribute to various aspects of the platform, including mobile clients and web dashboards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop backend solutions using Java for servers and APIs that drive our mobile and web applications, as well as data infrastructure.
  • Work on various aspects of the platform, including mobile clients and web dashboards, to ensure a seamless integration of services.
  • Collaborate with developers, analysts, and DevOps teams. Share expertise, participate in code reviews, and engage in team discussions.
  • Automate build and deployment processes using CI/CD tools. Develop and manage pipelines for efficient testing and deployment.
  • Design, optimize, and maintain both SQL and NoSQL databases. Ensure data integrity and performance.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues to ensure the reliability and performance of applications.
  • Follow best practices in coding, conduct regular code reviews, and refactor code to maintain high quality.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience as Backend Java Developer
  • Strong expertise with Java
  • Experience with JEE, SQL, AWS, Spring Boot
  • Identification with Agile methodology in teamwork and proactive approach
  • Hunger for work and knowledge sharing
  • Leadership experience
  • Ease of communication and sense of humor
  • Experience working in small companies with a strong understanding of business requirements of the product, strong communication skills
  • Great communications skills, with excellent written and spoken English
